Discover the local cuisine of this region, known for its various seafood delicacies prepared with fresh ingredients in a very simple way, using old recipes.

Some of the traditional dishes which could often be found on the islanders’ repertoire and which are definitely worth giving a taste are various brodettos, buzara (a special sauce for shellfish), and sočivo (a type of lentil stew). Not to forget meat delicacies, such as the renowned lamb from Kornati, characterised by fuller aromas and a more dense texture due to special grazing of the flocks on Kornati and the scarcity of drinking water. Together with old traditional Murter dishes, restaurants and taverns also offer a number of different charming designer dishes inspired by them, but prepared in keeping with the trends.
