international ferry and passenger lines connect Italian (Venice, Trieste, Ancona, Pescara and Bari) and Croatian harbours:
Zadar - (Brbinj/Dugi otok) – Ancona;
Korcula - (Stari grad/Hvar) - Split - (Vis) – Ancona;
Split - Pescara;
Pula, Umag, Porec, Rovinj, Mali Losinj and Rabac –Venice;
Pula - Rimini; Dubrovnik - Bari.
A daily ferry line connects Rijeka and Split during the entire year. Three times a week the ferry continues on to Dubrovnik. The ferry lines that connect Rijeka and the southern part of the Croatian coast (Rijeka - (Rab) - (Zadar) - Split - (Stari Grad/Hvar) - Korcula - (Sobra/Mljet) - Dubrovnik – Bari) are an excellent solution for drivers who can in this way avoid a pleasant, but tiring drive along the coast. If you come from far away, you can relax on the ferry before arriving at your destination.
